Garr Reynolds (Presentation Zen), reviewing the book A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink, applies the six attitudes of the book (Design, Story, Symphony, Empathy, Play, and Meaning) to making a presentation. It seems to me that they can be applied to designing a website or maintaining a blog, too.

In designing a website, one important consideration is whitespace, “the space between elements in a composition.” Mark Boulter (A List Apart) writes about how whitespace affects website design, how using it can affect legibility, how it can better position one’s brand, and how it takes both active and passive forms. Boulter sums it up well:
